Love this paint! It’s some of the best I’ve ever used.I am so happy I discovered this silk paint! Love the silk look on my furniture and it is easy to use for a non-professional painter. My furniture looks better than ever and saved a lot of money.Turned yellow a few days after painting. Also only covered about 1/2 small cabinet. Either was sent old product or it is counterfeit.This paint is easy to use and looks great when finished.I love every Dixie Belle product I’ve tried. My issue with this one has nothing to do with its performance and everything to do with the color it dried to. Imagine my disappointment when the beautiful light pink turned dingy purple. I’ve wasted my money and time because of false advertising. Any recommendations on a paint that is actually the color of the stock photo?I wanted to like this. I really did. The positives: no drip and virtually no brush strokes. Don’t be like me and skip priming. The product is supposed to be an all-in-one. I cleaned my project, I scuff-sanded and cleaned again as specified in the instructions. Two words: bleed through. After two coats and experimental coating of bleed through spots with a third, there was still the very disappointing bleed through. I gave up and started over with a blocking primer. My project didn’t have to be this difficult. I will NEVER again skip the primer. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.Great color but easily scratched off surface of the buffet I painted with it.Love the paint....except. it ruins your brush by not washing out completely and yes, you do still have to wax. Says you dont, but you do.
