I do a lot of painting and the cost of paint brushes add up quickly at $18 per brush. Then I found this at $5 for 2 in a package of 2 1/2 inch sash brush (slanted) and 3 inch. Since it was so cheap I was going to use this as a use once and throw away brush. However, after using it, I was so pleased with the quality of the brush I washed it and ended up using it over 6 times so far. My experience with cheap brushes in the past have been very bad. Cheap brushes usually lose a lot of bristles during painting and washing. Worse yet, cheap brushes don't have the right firmness for painting and the paint job ends up looking crummy. However, Bates paint brushes are just the right firmness and leave very even professional looking paint job. Just as good as the $18 paint brushes that I have been using. I was so pleased that I bought 6 more pairs of Bates paint brushes for future use before the price goes up. Amazing value! Don't think twice, stock up!
